The small, young female dog lay on the sidewalk in Venezuela, unable to move or search for food any longer. Her severely swollen belly made it clear that something was terribly wrong. She lay there, panting and struggling to breathe, as most people walked by without a second glance. But one kind, compassionate woman stopped. She reached out to Olga, our rescue colleague, for help. Olga and her husband rushed to the scene and asked NAFAF for assistance. Honey needs a vet evaluation to determine the type of treatment needed.

We are currently overwhelmed with medical cases and are begging for help. We know times are very difficult right now, but we have to try. We can’t stand by and watch an innocent animal suffer such horrific circumstances. Her name is Honey. She is young and not pregnant, but we need funds to determine why her abdomen is so distended and why she is so ill.
